It all started in 1997 at the Em\u00edlio Ribas Institute of Infectious Diseases, the first hospital to receive Viva's storytelling volunteers. Since then, we have grown a lot and are in hospitals all over Brazil.<\/p>\n

Viva S\u00e3o Paulo is both in the capital and in the cities of Guarulhos, Indaiatuba, Limeira, Mogi Gua\u00e7u, Santo Andr\u00e9, S\u00e3o Bernardo, and S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 do Rio Preto. It really is a huge coverage area and, for this reason, in some cities in the countryside of S\u00e3o Paulo who helps us fulfill our mission is Mahle. The company shares our values and the awareness of investing in health and education.<\/p>\n

In the capital, we also have Viva e Eduque - a space created for cultural and educational diffusion and wellbeing management for the whole society. We promote the art of play, storytelling, literature, and humanized communication through events, courses, and consulting.<\/p>\n

Also in the capital, we conduct research related to humanization in healthcare. Always with seriousness and professionalism, Viva has acquired the recognition of renowned health professionals in the S\u00e3o Paulo capital from hospitals such as the Em\u00edlio Ribas Infectious Diseases Institute, Hospital das Cl\u00ednicas, and Santa Casa de Miseric\u00f3rdia.<\/p>\n

Thanks to partnerships with companies and hospitals, we have been able to conduct qualitative and behavioral research in order to improve and deepen our mission: to improve the quality of life of young patients.<\/p>\n
