Campaign
1 million friends is a campaign that seeks to unite people who are interested in investing in education, health, and culture in Brazil.
These 3 cornerstones are developed by the Viva e Deixe Viver Association through the training of volunteers who, through storytelling, encourage reading to hospitalized children and strengthen the cultural instruments of Brazil.
All the money raised will be used to develop and expand its activities and to support its volunteers, storytellers, who work in 85 hospitals in 23 cities in Brazil.
Each year our storytellers:
read an average of 22,000 books
Benefit more than 170 thousand people, including 47 thousand children children in early childhood (up to 6 years old)

We train an average of 200 new storytelling volunteers every year.

Viva
Viva e Deixe Viver is a civil society organization, founded in 1997, that seeks to promote reading and literature in Brazil, strengthening the right to culture through the art of storytelling.
Through its educational tool VIVA E EDUQUE, it trains citizens who are aware of the importance of welcoming and raising the collective well-being, based on human values such as empathy, ethics, and affection for volunteer activities.
Viva is a reference in education and culture, where it develops ongoing teaching activities and promotes cultural products.
